A portrait of my son, once a week, every week, for the 3rd year of his life.

Anakin: You are getting to that age now where things are starting to capture your attention and interest in a different manner than before. You go from wildly excited to quietly intense. We temporarily escaped the crazy heat at Melbourne Museum this week. What a treat it was to watch you explore and marvel in the Children’s gallery. Afterwards we took you to my favourite room full of taxidermy, but I think you have yet to develop the patience for such a massive exhibit.

    • It’s a great place! I hadn’t been to the children’s gallery before, but it was fantastic! I love a good interactive exhibit. I still have so much left to see there. Good place to go on really hot days.
