Day 116 to 119 – 365 Project
“Se! Se!” (Look! Look!) You excitedly point to the fish and bang on his bowl. However loud it must be for Olav (do fish have ears?), he seems to enjoy your company, swimming up to your hands as if to say hello.
Why all appliances don’t just come with child safety locks is beyond me. You’ve figured out that you can reach the knobs on the oven, but thankfully you’re still unable to turn them. Sometimes I wonder if we’ll end up with a house full of gates to keep you (and us) safe.
The grocery store provides some cool relief on a hot summers day. You tell your pappa about everything you see, occasionally pointing at something saying “se der! (Look over there!) and wait for him to tell you what it’s called. You still don’t know how to say “hva er det?” (what’s that?), but it’s not far off.
These are the days. Hanging out, watching the world go by, talking about the ants and the wind. Let’s stay like this forever.
(And that brings us to the end of November!)
seriously, why don’t they make appliances child-proof to begin with?..

It’s ridiculous, isn’t it? I’m not even sure how to child proof the oven.
